Our Process
Here’s what to expect during the design process.
-
The design brief allows us to identify the scope, scale, and core details of your upcoming design project. It will include questions related to:
Information about you and your business, like what it does and what the goals for the project are
Information on your brand identity and brand personality
A list of similar designs you like and ones you don’t
Design goals and important details
-
Before we design anything, we’ll talk about what you’re trying to accomplish with your project. We’ll briefly discuss your budget and due date before we send you the design brief.
-
We require a 50% deposit to secure your date on our calendar. The design process takes about 7- 14 days depending on what service you need. You’ll be sent an invoice and once the first payment is made, you’ll move onto choosing your design start date.
-
Making sure we’re on the same page before the ink dries is vital to the success of your project. Our agreement lays out the terms of engagement as well as all the legalese that covers both you (the client) and us (the design team).
The agreement includes:
• General services agreement
• Relationship terms
• Website ownership terms
• Confidentiality
• Payment terms and late fees
• Feedback and revisions
• Project acceptance terms
• Liability
• Project termination
• Governing law in case of disputes
-
We use Google Drive to store all your project images, web copy and necessary content we’ll need to start designing. You’ll receive an invitation email to gain access to your folder. The Project Design can’t begin until we have everything we need.
-
During this step we’ll need you to be very attentive and answer all questions pertaining to your project as quickly and throughly as possible to avoid delays and possible late fees. This way we meet our design goal by our scheduled due date.
-
Once your project is near finished, you’ll get to see it for the first time! We’ll review it together and make sure everything looks great. We want you to be completely satisfied so if there are any issues or you aren’t happy with any part of it, we’ll make revisions until you love it. You’ll have up to 3 revisions so that you love it and want to show off.
-
Transfer of Ownership
After you give us a thumbs up that everything is perfect, you’ll pay your final deposit and we’ll deliver all assets created during the design period. You’ll have complete ownership of those deliverables.
